Listening to Refugees and Asylum
Seekers
An opportunity to hear from those who have come to Rochdale and surrounding
communities from various parts of the world

· Hear from Refugees and Asylum Seekers. In small groups we shall
listen to individuals and learn about their journeys to Rochdale
· A wide range of nationalities will be represented
· Hear from Churches, Red Cross and other local partners about their
work with newcomers to the town
· No charge for the day (voluntary donation). Disabled Access
· Connect with agencies and find out how to get involved

St Chad’s is at the end of Church Stile off Drake Street .

3 hours free parking outside the Church and unrestricted nearby.

On Foot.
From the Town Hall walk up the Church Steps. St Chad’s is the Church at the top
with the tower.
By Bus
The number 17 passes along Drake Street. Descend at Church Stile

By Train
Trains to Rochdale from Leeds and Manchester every 20 minutes or so. Tram to
Rochdale Railway Station. Ask for directions to Town Hall and you will find the
Church en route. NB Trams are slower than trains journey time 40 mins from
Manchester.
